Meet Miss Angie

ASHA-certified, mobile speech therapist in Suwanee, GA

Contact me

I’m Angela “Miss Angie” Mazanetz, MS, CCC-SLP, an ASHA-certified speech-language pathologist based in Suwanee, Georgia.
I bring a warm, family-centered, play-based approach to therapy—meeting children at home, in their preschool, or within the community where they learn best.

My Story

I began practicing in 1995, serving in the Special School District of St. Louis before relocating to Suwanee in 2002.
After pausing to raise my two boys and volunteer locally, I returned to private practice and also served with Babies Can’t Wait.
In 2023, I earned my Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist (ASDCS) credential and continue to pursue professional development—most recently updated in 2025.

My Approach

With nearly three decades of experience, I’ve developed a deep understanding of how children learn.
I believe in engaging all the senses—using movement, play, and real-life experiences to make communication meaningful.
Every child processes information differently, and therapy should honor those differences.

“Every child has unique gifts and talents. My role is to nurture those gifts and help each child find their voice.”

Empathy is at the heart of my work. I understand how concerning developmental delays can feel—especially when they involve speech and language. It’s natural to worry about your child’s progress and future. My goal is to support both the child and the family, offering hope and practical strategies every step of the way.

Family involvement is a cornerstone of my sessions. Whether you’re observing, modeling strategies, or playing alongside your child, family participation helps carry learning beyond the therapy session. I strive to empower parents and caregivers to become confident communication partners for their children.

My Promise

I’m here to support and guide your family through every step of this journey—helping your child build stronger speech, language, and confidence in a caring, collaborative environment.
