Hello,
I am Miss Angie!
Hi there! I’m a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in Georgia, proudly certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Communicative Disorders and Social Welfare, along with a Master’s Degree in Communicative Disorders (Speech-Language Pathology) from the University of Wisconsin.
Since 2002, I’ve made my home in Suwanee, GA. Before moving here, I dedicated my career to serving the Special School District in St. Louis, Missouri. After relocating, I took some time off to focus on raising my boys and actively volunteering in our community. Eventually, I returned to my profession, working as a contract speech therapist with Babies Can’t Wait and in private practice within a clinic setting.
Professional growth is something I value deeply. I’m always learning—taking new courses, refining my skills, and applying fresh knowledge in my sessions. I also love sharing what I learn with parents and caregivers so they can support their child’s growth at home. In 2023, I became a Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist (ASDCS) and continue to stay current with ongoing training and certification renewal, most recently in 2025.
With years of experience, I’ve developed a deep understanding of the varied ways children learn. I believe in engaging all their senses and encouraging physical activity to enhance learning, recognizing that every child processes information uniquely.
Empathy is at the heart of my approach. I understand parents' concerns about developmental delays, especially in speech and language. It’s natural to worry about your child's progress and future. I believe every child has unique gifts and talents, and my therapy sessions focus on nurturing these talents and developing effective communication skills.
Family involvement is a cornerstone of my therapy sessions. Whether observing techniques or actively participating in activities, family engagement is crucial to a child's progress. I’m dedicated to sharing knowledge and empowering both parents and children to become their own therapists as they grow.
I’m here to support and guide you every step of the way on this journey to enhance speech and language skills.
